The often geometric and industrial nature of minimalism lent itself well to the subject matter of Computer Freaks. This resulted in a logo that is a minimalistic interpretation of a computer screen with a transparent layer through which a photograph of the many wires found inside the earliest computers can be seen, and thus the logo itself becomes a metaphor for the podcast as it too, serves as an inside look into this technology and the people who created it.
